DESCRIPTION:St. Louis Beginners Pickleball Meetup Group\nThe entrance to the Pickleball/Tennis Courts is by the blue circled walkway next to the Water Park.\n\n**Beginners- If you need instruction or a paddle\, please contact Steve\, the organizer. If you want to buy a beginner paddle\, I have them available for $10.**\n\nWebster has resumed open play for all courts\, so let’s play in Courts 5\,6\, and 7.\n\n**All experienced pickleball players are expected to assist with teaching beginners learn to play\, often I get overwhelmed and need help. Please be considerate.**\n\n**The MeetUp dues which I pay\, are $110 every 6 months. Donations of cash are always welcome or Venmo me at @Steven-Donatiello\, last 4 of phone - 5948.**\n\n**Remember the front desk has ice and the nearest emergency room is Saint Mary's - 314-768-8000 option 3.**\n\nThis meetup is a place for beginners to learn the sport without having to sign up for lessons\, etc. I have two spare paddles and experienced players will provide instruction. We pair beginners with experienced players to help with the learning curve for this sport.\n\nI play when weather is permitting\, over 40 and no wind and dry courts.\n\nPlease keep your reservations current.\n\nPlease come to the tennis courts' office area to meet.\n\nFees are $3 for residents with ID card (which costs $5) or $5 for non-residents.\n\n**Please remember\, Pickleball is the leading cause of Emergency Room visits by those over 50\, so take it easy.**\n\nBring lots of water and a brimmed cap to keep out the glare of the sun/lights. Gloves for once it gets colder.\n\nLet's make these a good way to get light exercise.\n\nThanks for reading!
