DESCRIPTION:The Graduate Association of School Psychologists (GrASP) cordially invites all UMSL students\, faculty\, community members to attend Brunch With A Legislator. This event engages directly with policymakers on issues impacting education\, mental health\, and public service for those with a passion for advocacy! With panelists with extensive professional backgrounds\, this event promotes practice of professional advocacy skills in a supportive\, structured environment and the learning of legislative processes and how to effectively communicate with elected officials. Come build connections that may support future collaboration and civic involvement with a provided brunch by UMSL Catering!\n\nPanelists include Andrew Loiterstein and Mya Canty from NAMI STL\; Senator Tracy McCreery\; Senator Brian Williams\; and House Representative LaDonna Appelbaum.
