SUMMARY:Meet the Author: Joss Richard - LET'S KISS AND TELL
DESCRIPTION:Joss Richard presents her newest novel\, LET'S KISS AND TELL. She will be in conversation with Bal Khabra\, author of the Off the Ice Series.\n\nThis is a ticketed event. Click HEREto reserve your space at the event and order a copy of LET'S KISS AND TELL!\n\nAbout LET'S KISS AND TELL:\n\nLucy Reid is a sex columnist whose views on relationships aren’t exactly optimistic. She empowers readers to embrace their sexuality and challenge the idea that you need a partner to be happy—until her editor points out their audience is mostly coupled up . . . and maybe it’s time for something (or someone) new. To buy herself time\, Lucy impulsively claims she’s started a new relationship she can write about. Enter Marshall Oakley.\n\nMarshall is the new senior news writer at Lucy’s company. When they meet at a work event\, he reveals his ex of nine years is getting married\, and he needs a plus-one to keep his family off his back. They agree to fake date until the wedding—Lucy can write about finding “the one” before proving relationships don’t solve everything when they “break up”\, and Marshall gets a no-strings date to convince his friends\, family\, and ex he’s moved on.\n\nBut as they spend more time together\, the lines blur and each begins to reevaluate their views on love. As fear gives way to misunderstandings\, can they find the courage to rewrite their story with a happily ever after?\n\nAbout Joss Richard:\n\nJoss Richard (she/her) is an editorial & social director who’s worked at companies such as Hello Sunshine and Reese’s Book Club\, The Walt Disney Company\, The Ellen DeGeneres Show\, Netflix\, and Paramount. She’s also the creator and host of Three’s Company\, Too: A Rewatch Podcast and has been formally recognized with a Daytime Emmy Award. Born in Toronto\, Ontario\, to Filipino immigrant parents\, Richard currently lives and works in Los Angeles\, California.\n\nAbout Bal Khabra:\n\nBal is a Canadian writer\, romance enthusiast\, and book lover. Before she decided to jump into the romance pool\, she spent her time gushing about books on social media. When inspiration strikes\, she is found filling her notes app with ideas for romance novels. Like her heroine Summer\, Bal has been woven into the fabric of two cultures and finds herself creating characters that represent the beauty of both. Whether it's through language\, a box of her favorite sweets\, or a cup of chai\, we can find hints of her South Asian roots throughout her writing. She loves reading about love\, watching movies about love\, and now\, writing about it herself. There really isn’t much else that gets her heart fluttering the way HEAs do. She fell in love with writing and hopes to continue living out her romance author dreams.\n\nA huge thanks to Main Street Books\, our partner on this exciting event!\n\nTo find more books by Joss Richard\, search the library catalog!\n\nTo find more books by Bal Khabra\, search the library catalog!
