DESCRIPTION:Nicki Jacobsmeyer presents her newest spooky nonfiction book\, THE GHOSTLY TALES OF MAINE'S HAUNTED LIGHTHOUSES.\n\nAbout THE GHOSTLY TALES OF MAINE'S HAUNTED LIGHTHOUSES:\n\nGhost stories from Maine's Haunted Lighthouses have never been so creepy\, fun\, and full of mystery!\n\nWelcome to the spooky lighthouses of Maine!\n\nStay alert! Ghosts lurk around every corner. Even the most unexpected places might be haunted by wandering phantoms.\n\nDid you know Boon Island is home to a heartbroken woman in white? Or that a ghostly boy wanders the road to Marshall Point Light? Can you believe\, when darkness falls at Wood Island Light\, phantom gunfire echoes on the wind?\n\nPulled right from history\, these ghostly tales will change the way you see Maine's lighthouses forever\, and have you sleeping with the lights on!\n\nAbout Nicki Jacobsmeyer:\n\nI started entertaining my imagination by writing stories down in elementary school. As I got older\, I enjoyed inspiring and encouraging others through my writing. Over a decade ago\, I realized writing was my true passion and haven't stopped since. I write fiction and non-fiction for children and adults.\n\nI have an obsession with research and reading. Since I panic if I'm without a book\, you can find a trail of them throughout my house and car. Although my laptop is not far away\, I always write my first draft with a #2 pencil and paper. I collect pencils when I travel or persuade family and friends to bring one back as a souvenir. Each pencil has a story\, and they inspire me as I write.\n\nWhen I'm not writing or reading\, I'm spending time with my husband\, two boys\, and fur babies. They remind me not to take life too seriously and enjoy each moment. My hubby and I met at the University of Missouri-Columbia where I obtained my business degree. Mizzou-Rah! After school\, I climbed the corporate ladder\, and we decided to start a family. Over a decade ago\, I decided to chase my dreams and rekindle with the writer within. I love to travel\, theme parties\, knit\, family barbeques\, sunsets\, and watching a storm come in from my front porch.\n\nI'm represented by the fabulous Senior Agent Heather Cashman at Storm Literary Agency.\n\nA huge thanks to Main Street Books\, our partner on this exciting event!\n\nTo find more books by Nicki Jacobsmeyer\, search the library catalog!
