DESCRIPTION:Family Sunday activities focus on a different\, family-friendly theme each time. This Family Sunday highlights Visions of Antiquity\, in Gallery 235 and Sidney S. and Sadie M. Cohen Gallery 234. Inspired by Black Ballerina\, a photograph in the exhibition by Leroy Henderson\, Riley Adams\, as artistic coordinator and ambassador for Brown Girls Do Ballet (BGDB) will host a workshop and performance. Additionally\, enjoy an opportunity to place yourself into the photograph and decorate the frame in this week’s Create Lab. Join a family friendly tour of the Visions of Antiquity exhibition to explore how representation\, tradition\, and belonging intersect within visual art and classical ballet with three local dancers. \nThis program is supported by the Dana Brown Endowed Fund for Education and Community Programs.
