Junior Piano Recital: Eric Zhang
The University of Missouri–St. Louis Department of Music proudly presents the Junior Piano Recital of Eric Zhang, student of Alla Voskoboynikova, Teaching Professor of Piano and Director of Keyboard Studies.
Eric’s program features a bold and expressive journey through three major cornerstones of the piano repertoire:
J. S. Bach – Prelude and Fugue in D MajorModest Mussorgsky – Pictures at an ExhibitionSergei Prokofiev – Piano Sonata No. 3 in A Minor, Op. 28In addition to his solo performances, Eric will be joined by guest artists Arissa Ford (soprano) and Emma Scherrer (clarinet) in a performance of Franz Schubert’s “Romance” for voice, clarinet, and piano.
This recital marks an important milestone in Eric’s undergraduate studies, showcasing his technical mastery, musical imagination, and collaborative artistry.
The recital is free and open to the public. All are warmly invited to celebrate Eric’s achievements and enjoy an afternoon of exceptional music-making.
