Celebrate Arbor Day at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum!
On Friday, April 24, Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum, Missouri’s first Level III Accredited Arboretum—one of only 55+ worldwide—invites you to a special Arbor Day event open to all!
From 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., dedicated horticulture staff will be at a table near the Willow Entrance, offering a unique opportunity to acquire a complimentary tree sapling! Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum has 200 tree saplings to give away, ranging from oaks to walnuts and pecans, to persimmons and serviceberries. Take home a piece of our arboreal heritage and help us grow our urban forest!
