Drop-in Collection Tour with The St. Louis African Arts Festival—African Resonances

Join a guided tour of SLAM’s collection inspired by vibrant African artistic traditions and their global legacy. Visitors will explore not only the Museum’s African galleries but also how African art has sparked creativity across cultures, shaping major artistic movements and inspiring artists in different places and periods of time. This tour is offered in partnership with the St. Louis African Arts Festival. The festival will run from May 23 to May 25, 2026. An assigned volunteer educators will meet attendees at the welcome desk in Sculpture Hall. Space is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
