UMSL Libraries Fall Kickoff

To celebrate the beginning of the Fall 2026 semester, UMSL Libraries is hosting a fun, free, drop-in kickoff event! On the first Thursday of classes, stop by the library for a variety of library-related fun—games, crafts, a button-making station, snacks, and drinks. We'll also have some information tables where you can sign up for library events later in the semester, chat with our friendly librarians, and meet the librarian who works with your major/department. Pick up some library swag. Sign up for a card with the St. Louis County Library! ACTIVITIES: - Trivia! Every half hour starting at 11:15. Each round will be a different theme. We will have a selection of prizes for the winners! Trivia Schedule (tentative): 11:15 - Horror Movies 11:45 - Name That Tune 12:15 - Books You Might Have Read in College 12:45 - Books Turned into Movies/TV 1:15 - TV 1:45 - Minimalist Pop Culture Button making! Make a button using fun designs provided by the library. Other games and activities — Bananagrams! Puzzles! Dominoes! Tour the library to find all the good study spots. And, just hang out!
