Soundhaus St. Louis returns to Blueberry Hill’s Duck Room for its 73rd session — A TO Z — bringing together vetted local musicians for a one-night-only performance built around songs spanning the alphabet and inspired by the spirit of back-to-school season. Unlike a traditional band, Soundhaus assembles skilled musicians from across the local music community and challenges them to prepare independently before coming together for a single live show. No group rehearsals. No second chances. Just great songs, great players, all pulling for each other in a high-level performance experience. From the laid-back groove of Queen of California, to the timeless harmonies of No Sugar Tonight / New Mother Nature, to Johnny B. Goode—performed on the very stage where Chuck Berry made history—the night continues with the iconic pulse of Another Brick in the Wall, Carry On Wayward Son, and Zero, as every song is performed by a unique lineup of local musicians meeting on stage for the very first time. More than 500 musicians have participated in Soundhaus sessions throughout the Midwest, performing over 750 songs while helping build one of the region’s most connected musician communities.
