Draw at the Zoo

St. Louis Drawing & Painting Meetup Let's hang out and sketch some animals. Just bring your sketchbook and preferred sketching medium. Let's meet **near the pond with the sea lion statues just inside the South Entrance\** **at 10:00 am**. From there, we can head out to draw. We will regroup around 11:45 at the South Entrance again to share what we saw and drew. Please see the attached map for the intended drawing area each month. Note the backup meeting location in case of rain. 🐒🦓🦁 *Note: This event is not at all officially associated with the zoo, we are just making use of an incredible free public space. Please be respectful of other zoo-goers and the animals and follow all zoo rules. This is a casual, non-instructional social meetup. Minors are welcome, but must be accompanied by a guardian.* **Parking Tips:** The zoo itself is free, but the zoo lots are $20 to park in. If you don't mind extra walking, you can usually find free street parking somewhere in Forest Park. There is also additional overflow parking across the overpass to the south of the zoo that several people have recommended.
