Dark Curiosities: Putting the "Fun" in Funeral

How does one honor the dead? That's certainly an age-old question! This presentation will empathetically explore funerary practices around the world-spanning from Ancient Rome to modern day South Sulawesi, Indonesia. We'll respectfully look at the history of body preservation methods from cremation to mummification to extreme embalming. Death comes for us all, but we grieve in all manner of ways!
