Jim Bashkin Retirement Celebration

On Friday, September 11th, there will be a retirement celebration for Jim Bashkin. Given his involvement with music over the years and several public presentations he gave on the ‘Chemistry of Music’ at which the Arianna String Quartet performed, the ASQ has agreed to give a 15-minute performance around 5pm during the event. Joanna Mendoza, Chair of Music, generously offered this performance and that is the date and time that works for them. The event will be from 4pm – 6pm in the in the Arianna String Quartet Recital Room in the Creative Arts Building 112. Our recent retirees Vally D’Souza and Lynda McDowell will also be honored at the event. Light refreshments and appetizers will be available at the event; there will be no alcoholic beverages provided.
