Soundhaus St. Louis returns to Blueberry Hill’s Duck Room for its 75th session — Electric Roots — bringing together vetted local musicians for a one-night-only performance built around the smarter side of American rock – where great songwriting, strong musicianship and roots influencesmeet a full electric band.  Unlike a traditional band, Soundhaus assembles skilled musicians from across St. Louis and challenges them to prepare independently before coming together for a single live show. No group rehearsals. No second chances. Just great songs, great players, all pulling for each other in a high-level performance experience. From the fiery country swagger of Kerosene, to the soul and grit of Soulshine, the heartland spirit of Lonesome Day, and the driving energy of Finest Worksong, this 30-song set explores the rich intersection of roots rock, Americana, Southern rock, blues, country, and jam music while bringing together a different lineup of local musicians on every song. More than 500 musicians have participated in Soundhaus sessions throughout the Midwest, performing over 750 songs while helping build one of the region’s most connected musician communities.
