Sociology Speaks - Dr Peter Marina, Public Lecture

A former visiting professor at UMSL, Dr. Peter Marina’s research and teaching spans a broad spectrum of cultural and social contexts, from inner-city youths and street performers to urban occultists and marginalized urban dwellers. His most recent book focused on emergency dispatchers, whose split-second decisions impact the fate of everyone a call involves, yet they remain the least examined actors in policing.
