AARP Free Tax Service

AARP will provide free tax service to people with medium to low income at the Middendorf-Kredell Branch by appointment only. Please go to our online scheduling system or call (636) 978-7926 to make an appointment beginning January 2, 2026.Please only sign up for one slot on one day to give others a chance to also use this service. If we see that you have signed up for multiple slots, you will be contacted and asked to choose one slot.Please bring the following to your appointment:Federal & state income tax forms from last yearW-2’s 1099’s & Social Security form #SSA1099Information on wages interest dividends capital gains & other incomeRecords of quarterly estimated taxes paidReceipts of tax deductible items if itemizingPaid property tax receipt or rent receiptsSocial Security Cards or Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN) for all family membersValid picture ID for taxpayer & spouse (driver's license state ID or passport)A copy of a voided check or bank account and routing numbers for direct depositClick here to learn more about The American Association for Retired Persons (AARP).If you need accommodations for this class, please contact the Library as soon as you are able to after registering.
