As part of the Lest We Forget exhibition, on display at The District from April 16 – May 3, join the Museum for a screening of the documentary Lest We Forget, which explores the creation of the exhibition. The film follows German-Italian photographer and filmmaker Luigi Toscano on his journey to meet Holocaust survivors and capture their powerful portraits. Following the screening, stay for a panel discussion featuring Luigi Toscano; Dee Dee Simon, Chair of the Missouri Holocaust Education and Awareness Commission; and Oskar Jakob, a local Holocaust survivor whose portrait is included in the exhibition. After the panel, a 2:00 pm bus will depart for a guided tour of the exhibition at The District with Luigi Toscano. The bus will return to the Museum at approximately 4:30 pm. Bus tickets are $22 and include transportation and a boxed lunch. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Space is limited — reserve now to secure your spot. Before Your Visit: Free and accessible parking available on site. Accessible seating, assistive listening devices, and wheelchairs available upon request. Closed captioning will be provided for the film. This event is free to attend (bus tickets sold separately).
